The Mohawk Valley is now home to Art on the Run!
A project which brings brightly decorated sculptures of runners to locations all across the Region.

Art on the Run will be the first in the nation to use the runner form as a blank canvas to tie together the arts, health and fitness, and the support of our local businesses and communities. In five years it will be impossible to drive through our community without seeing one of these runners in a store window, on a home owner’s porch, or a city monument!

This highly successful, nation wide initiative is spearheaded by area runners, artists, and individuals inspired by Breakthrough Central New York.

Become a Sponsor

Become an Artist

As a sponsor for the Art on the Run project you will receive the following benefits!

-Your sponsored and decorated runner will be on display at a location of your choice following the 2008 Boilermaker Race.

-Your company name will appear on our on-going marketing materials, website and a plaque which will be on display in front your sponsored runner.
- All donations are tax deductible

- A representative from your company will be invited to all of the Art on the Run receptions and activities.
-Recognition throughout the community as a supporter of the arts and health & fitness.

You as an artist are eligible to submit a creative and clever design and be one of the 30 artists selected to decorate a runner.
Benefits for the artists

- If you are elected you will be one of the 30 artists chosen in 2008 to paint on this life size runner.

- Your name will be included in our on going public relations campaign where you will be recognized throughout the region.
